We repair all school band instruments, guitar and other fretted instruments, as well as electronic sound equipment. We are a factory authorized repair center for most major brands. BEN LEE - BAND/ORCHESTRAL INSTRUMENT MASTER TECHNICIAN
Benjamin K. Lee, CMT, M.Div., Certified Professional Band and Orchestra Instrument Repair Technician, studied Brass wind repair at Markernoikerhen Germany, Woodwind repair at Belgium Brussels and CMT Master course of study at Moscow Music Conservatory. Lee is a Straubinger’s flute Certified Repair Technician, also completing the Master Certification as well. Lee is also an accomplished Violin and string repair technician, with certification and degree from New York Instrument Repair Institute. Lee is also a member of National Association of Pro Band Instrument Repair Techs, with extensive experience with clients, including private schools, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools' school band programs, the Charlotte symphony, Union County Public Schools, Charter schools and other private schools of North and South Carolina. Lee brings with him 23 years of work experience, and a wealth of knowledge in repair.
BILL PEAK - BAND/ORCHESTRAL REPAIR TECHNICIAN
Meet Bill Peak, Music N' More's newest addition to the repair department. Bill worked at the Vincent Bach plant of the Selmer Company in Elkhart, Indiana for 12 years. There he learned how to manufacture student and professional instruments and also supervised the training of other technicians. He also worked with Pettifor Band Instrument Repair in Elkhart, Indiana for two years. Pettifor's is well established with professional performers and band directors throughout the United States as a premier brass repair shop.
Bill helped open the former Selmer plant in Albemarle, NC where he supervised the building of trumpets and trombones. After the closing of the Selmer plant he continued his profession, working with middle schools, high schools and professional musicians. Bill's extensive experience in the manufacturing process of brass instruments provides him with an insight into repairs that can be gained nowhere else.
TK KENT - GUITAR REPAIR TECHNICIAN
Music 'N More is proud to announce that our guitar shop in our repair department is now open!! And manning the “Bunker”, we are pleased to introduce TK as our Guitar Tech, and he is bringing his 30 years of playing and repair experience with him!
Some of you may know him as the bass player from the regional powerhouse band “Black Glass” and his passion for working on instruments matches the love he has for playing them. And TK prides himself on quick turnaround times...he will do everything possible to make sure you're able to make your gig!
